Nurturing Relationships

We believe that relationships are essential for a thriving life. God didn’t design us to walk through life alone—we were made for connection. And when we say nurturing relationships, we mean both our relationship with God and our relationships with each other. Both are vital.
A thriving relationship with God gives us identity, purpose, and hope. Healthy relationships with others offer us encouragement, accountability, and support. Together, they form the foundation of a meaningful life.
At First Baptist, we create space for authentic community through small groups, Bible studies, fellowship events, and simply doing life together. Whether it’s gathering around a table for a meal, serving alongside one another, or sharing honestly in a Thrive Group, we believe that we grow best when we grow together. Because when we’re connected to God and to each other in love and support, our chances of truly thriving multiply.
