Senior Pastor
Chase joined the staff of First Baptist in 2021. He has been married to Mindy Robinson since 2013, and together they have three children, three dogs, and a cat named River—who, by all accounts, runs the household. As foster parents, Chase and Mindy also have the joy and blessing of welcoming other children into their home for different seasons of life.
Chase is passionate about the mission of First Baptist and loves finding creative ways to help people thrive and experience God’s abundance. He is grateful to serve alongside such a talented, compassionate staff and to be part of a congregation that embodies the love of Christ in such tangible and impactful ways.

Rev. Stacey Grimm
Associate Pastor of Connections and Communications
Stacey joined the staff in June of 2005. Her husband, David, is the Sports Marketing and Business Teacher at Cummings High School, and also serves as their Head Football Coach. They have a grown son, Courtland Jacob, and daughter-in-law, Haley.
Stacey loves the people and relationships she has at First Baptist. She enjoys the team she is a part of at the church and the support and encouragement she finds from her colleagues. She considers herself blessed to get to do such meaningful work with them.

Dr. Katherine Thomas
Director of Music and Worship
Katherine stepped into the role of Director of Music and Worship in 2022, but she has been a part of the Music Ministry at First Baptist since 2011. She began playing as an accompanist for the choir and instrumental groups, as well as participating in handbells and directing.
She is married to another musician, Sean Lucier, who works as the chorus teacher at Western High School. They have a son, Arthur, and three cats at home. Katherine also loves her plant babies, both indoors and out, and is thrilled that they grow so well in the church windows.
Katherine loves the supportive and creative atmosphere that she finds working with the staff at First Baptist. She feels incredibly fortunate to have a loving, collaborative staff who genuinely care about each other and each other’s endeavors.

Mindy Robinson
Office Administrator
Mindy joined the staff in the spring of 2025 as the office administrator. Before coming to First Baptist, she has worked in both missions and foster care.
In addition to lending her organizational skills at the church office, Mindy is “the planner” in the Robinson household. This comes in handy when it comes time for vacations or just getting the girls to their dance lessons on the right day!
Mindy enjoys her job at First Baptist. She is able to serve her church family and community, while working alongside people whom she considers to be true friends.
