At First Baptist, we believe that childhood should be an amazing journey filled with discovery and love. Every child deserves a safe and joyful environment where they can explore their world, ask questions, and experience the incredible love of a big God who wants the best for them.
That’s why we created Thrive Kids—a special place where kids can connect with big ideas about faith every Sunday morning from 9:45 to 10:45 AM, right in our Thrive Kids Hall. Each week, we dive into engaging Bible stories and fun activities that not only reinforce the lessons but also help kids understand God's great love for them.
Each month, we focus on a vital character trait, like love, generosity, and respect, helping our kids grow not just in knowledge, but also in character. We’re intentional about every lesson because we know that what they learn now will shape who they become. We want each child to be rooted in a vibrant faith and equipped to face life’s challenges with grace and resilience.
Our mission is simple: we want every child to enjoy a childhood that's filled with joy, creativity, and love. We aim to be a support system for them, shielding them from the world's brokenness while empowering them to navigate life's future challenges confidently.
We believe in partnering with families to create an engaging and meaningful experience in our children’s ministry. With God’s help, we’re not just helping our kids survive—we're helping them thrive!
